World natural grasslands day

What is that ?

May 25 is the World natural grasslands day! A unique opportunity to learn more about these spaces rich in biodiversity, which seem ordinary to us but are nevertheless threatened.

All over France and around the world, events are organized to raise public awareness and discover their importance in ecosystems: nature walks, farm visits, film debates, … The goal is to raise awareness of natural grasslands to encourage their protection!

The World natural grasslands day is organized by the « Inter-Parcs du Massif Central » association (IPAMAC) and its partners, as part of the « Milieux Ouverts Herbacés » (MOH) network.

To participate to an event

Many events dedicated to natural grasslands take place between May 24 and June 15, 2025 in France and around the world. There’s bound to be one near you!

You are an association, a community, a Park, … and you would like to organize an event?

Attention ! Please read the organizer’s charter carefully before registering.

To have your event listed, please complete the registration form before May 9, 2025.

If your event complies with the organizer’s charter, it will be integrated into the interactive map and you will receive the communication kit.
